Alpacas for Beginners
This is a perfect day for those who love alpacas (lets face it who doesn’t??) or fantastic for those considering keeping alpacas, or basically anyone who fancies a day out with a difference.
This course provides a total immersion into all things alpaca! We will spend the day in the fields with the alpacas getting know all about them.
Bespoke days are available and we also offer this content working with your alpacas
Course content:
- Introduction to alpacas
- Meet and greet with the females and babies
- Handle and halter with the males
- Trek through the countryside with your own alpaca
- Healthcare
- Selecting a good alpaca
- Shearing and breeding
- Coffee on arrival, lunch and afternoon tea provided
